The Missa Brevis in G major by Robert Sirico is a neo-classical setting of the old Latin Tridentine Mass for Chorus, soloists, and string orchestra to be performed as a liturgical music, or as a concert program.  The composition has a 20-minute duration and is easily accessible for even a well-trained high school chorus and chamber orchestra and can be performed with the minimal forces of singers and instrumentalists.

The setting is stylistically akin to the late nineteenth century monuments of that era, and could easily fit into the genre as these beautiful musical selections will spiritually edify the congregation by appealing to the familiar old aesthetic of sacred music while presenting something new to a soul thirsting for hallowed sounds.
